Merry Christmas
But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:10-11

Makeshift Mantle
Our apartment is perfect ... except it is missing a fireplace and most importantly, a mantle. Of course, I can live without a mantle but I would say I've always thought of a mantle as true mark of a home.
So, I asked Dustin if I can splurge $3.99 a week and keep our house filled with fresh flowers. At least until I get a mantle.
He thought I was silly for asking.

Bursting
Happiness sometimes makes my heart feel like it's going to burst. A physical burst, I really do feel the pressure. And, I love it.
Last night, I was bursting. That boy, Dustin - so full of thoughts I don't have, stories I could never dream, and songs I would never dare sing.
And all he was doing ... standing beside me at a show.

Lessons of a Housewife
Superbowl Sunday called for a big ol' batch of salsa. Who Song & Larry style ... meaning lots of serrano chiles.
It's a really bad idea to put your contacts in after you touch those lovely serrano chiles.
Really bad.
